First time to the farm? Here’s what you can expect to find when you get here!

The Mazed and Confused Corn Maze

We’ve had 11 different corn maze themes over the years, but this one may be our new favorite. Planted over five sprawling acres, this year’s corn maze pays tribute to local legend Matthew McConaughey and his iconic role in the 90s film Dazed and Confused

We love creating mazes that draw attention to local Austin life!

The Most Scenic Pumpkin Patch in Texas

Sitting right on the banks of the Colorado River, our pumpkin patch has all the gourds you could want for your fall decor. Get a biggun for a festive Jack O’Lantern, or choose an assortment of smaller pumpkins for painting or leaving au natural.

Our pumpkin patch is one of the most popular photo spots at the festival, with friends and families taking advantage of the hay bales, wagons, and the adorable pumpkin house as photo backdrops.

Live Music by Local Artists

There’s no celebration in the Austin area without music! We have live music most days on the Texas Live Music Stage. Couples can try out a two-step or just enjoy the show while drinking a cold local beer from the biergarten.

And speaking of the biergarten…

The Barton Hugel Apfelwein & Biergarten

We know—it’s a mouthful. But it simply means “Barton Hill Cider & Beer Garden!”

This is one of our favorite spots on the farm. A vintage sno-cone trailer has been refurbished into a draft beer trailer, serving local brews and ciders. We’ve planted rows of hops to climb the biergarten trellis, creating a little oasis of greenery. As an adults-only spot, this is the perfect place to kick back and relax.

Animal Friends

As a working farm, we’ve got a whole menagerie of animal friends to visit! On the Texas Hayride, you’ll see Texas Longhorns, cattle, and a whole herd of sheep. And at the animal pens, you can get close to chickens, pigs, a pair of miniature horses, and some sassy llamas.

Games, Activities, and More Games

There’s so much to do at the farm! We’ve got plenty of places for kids to climb, explore, and jump, like the Wilbarger Village Tree Fort, Super Slides, and two Texas Jumbo Jumping Pillows.

Try your hand at archery or catch-and-release fishing. Ride the Texas Hayride or the Bee Train, or shoot hoops at the Competitive Ball Zone. With over 30 activities, there’s plenty to keep adults and kids entertained all day!

Semi-Private Cabanas

Parties of up to 10 people can rent a semi-private cabana for the morning or afternoon. Ideal for birthday parties or family get-togethers, these areas let you gather with your group for meals, gift opening, or group photos.

Each cabana has both a shaded and an open area with bench seating, and includes 10 bottles of water for your group.

A Family-Friendly Feast

You may get here hungry, but you won’t leave that way. We’ve got plenty of food stands on the farm, with freshly-floured chicken tenders and french fries, pulled pork, and more. For dessert, stop by Avaleigh’s Sweet Barn for a scoop of Blue Bell Ice Cream or get a hot churro.

You’re Welcome Here!

We’ve missed a lot of our favorite faces over the past two years, but we’re thrilled to be seeing more and more of you at each seasonal festival. This is our 11th fall at Barton Hill Farms, and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you!
